DeauthorMe collects personal information you provide, including your name, email address, phone number, physical address, and other identifiers necessary to perform privacy scans on your behalf. We also collect usage data to improve our service.
Your personal information is used exclusively to scan data broker sites, dark web databases, social media platforms, and other sources for exposures of your data. We never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
All personal data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption and in transit using TLS 1.3. Sensitive fields such as SSN last 4 digits are additionally hashed and never stored in plain text.
DeauthorMe is fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time through your account settings.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
